Text Alerts:

Functions:
– Enable alerts to parents
– Enable alerts to children
– View current alerts to parents
– View current alerts to children
– Add or remove alerts to parents
– Add or remove alerts to children

– Parent/Guardian phone numbers
– Child phone numbers

Constraints:
– Data must be up to date
– Must be able to display up to ten alerts for parents and ten alerts for children on one page

Metaphors:

1: Hourglass at various depleted levels representing X% of time remaining.

2: Cuckoo clock that “chimes” at set levels of time remaining. The cuckoo could be anthropmorphic and speak, which could be better suited for children.

Stop Tracking:

Functions:
– Disable tracking for rest of current day
– Choose future days to toggle tracking

Constraints:
– Data must be up to date
– Must be able to show one month of potential block dates at a time (in calendar view)

Metaphors:

1 (Unlock): Have a closed padlock appear on days with restrictions enabled and an open padlock appear on days with restrictions disabled

2 (Blackout): Have days with restrictions enabled appear normally on the calendar and have days with restrictions disabled be totally black squares (so no data about them can be seen)
