Problem, Target Users, Roles and Tasks

The problem that this project addresses is the lack of parental control programs that have cross-platform capabilities.  This project aims to let parents specify how much time their child can spend playing games on any given console in one clear, easily understandable interface.  In existing parental control systems, parents would have to divide up the total time that their child can play throughout their multitude of game consoles, each with their own interface.  With our system, they will be able to do this in a single interface, saving time and preventing errors.

The Target Audience is parents who want to make sure their children are only spending a limited amount of time playing video games across multiple platforms.

Team Roles:

Matthew King:  Web Developer

Kevin Cavanaugh:  Designer

James O’Brien:  Business analyst
